As the Gearbox Specialists for VW & Audi for over four decades, industry veteran, Richard Erlemann and his dedicated team set the benchmark of Experience, Expertise and Excellence in gearbox and mechatronic repair.

Since setting up operations in 1972 with a small workshop in Joubert Park, Johannesburg, Erlemann's Gearbox Engineering grew to become synonymous with remanufactured gearboxes and differentials. The company's focus on product knowledge, quality and the best possible service ensured they were and remained trailblazers and set the standard for industry leaders like Mayfair Gearbox (Pty) Ltd and Gearmax, who pay tribute to their legacy and the indelible influence they had in advancing the Automotive Industry.
